As a Loan Processor, your day will be filled with opportunities to set up new and renewed consumer and business loans, letters of credit and lease packages

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

This position consists of a range of responsibilities that could include a variety of the following:

  • System set up of new and renewed consumer and business loans, letters of credit and lease packages
  • Process and balance payments and disbursement transactions associated with closed loans, letters of credit and leases
  • Specialized process of International Letters of Credit, Corresponding Banking, SWAPS, Participation, Syndications, etc
  • Review loan documents in closed packages for completeness, perform maintenance on application system, maintain billing schedules, completing a post audit of the loan documentation for compliance with regulatory and bank policies
  • Review, clearing and system updates of all Loan documentation exceptions
  • Provide the highest level of quality service.Significant customer contact with internal customers.
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Be able to make decisions within limits set within the Loan Operations Department
  • Work closely with all personnel in Loan Operations


Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Completion of four years of high school or equivalent required
  • General banking specific to loan processing is required.
  • Requires attention to detail.
  • Ability of effectively communicate with internal and external customer, co-workers and management.
  • High level of organization and attention to accuracy and detail is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with tact, discretion, and diplomacy
  • Knowledge of Premier Navigator preferred
