Director of Asset Management
Location: Maryland / Annapolis
Salary: Up to $210,000 + Bonus & Equity
Piper Maddox is partnered with an industry leading climate investment firm as they hire for a Director of Portfolio Management to join their talented team. With over $12bl in AUM this organisation has supported some of the most innovative clean energy developers as they expand their portfolios across the US.
As part of their portfolio management team, you will be key a key figure in providing guidance and due diligence over their ongoing projects. This role oversees multiple aspects of the projects including analysis of constructions, operations and maintenance, and overall success of projects.
What you will do:
- Portfolio Management / Analysis lead on the analysis and review of a variety of both grid and behind the meter investments across the country.
- Oversee plans and agreements for EPC, O&M, equipment etc.
- Work with the investments team to provide critical due diligence reviews on potential investments and current investments.
- Understand of the intricacies of energy projects from construction, maintenance, operation and profitability.
What you will have:
- A track record in working close with renewable energy projects (solar, storage ideally) with experience in overseeing the above points.
- A deep understanding of the technical elements of energy project development including site construction, maintenance and ongoing operations.
- Strong experience across a variety of pieces of projects lifecycle including due diligence, construction, and operation.
- Ability to oversee a portfolio of projects, and experience in leveraging a team of analysts when needed.
