Systems Engineer
Robert Half is working with a client seeking an Site IT Engineer for to support their daily operations. The ideal candidate would be an IT professional with experience migrating servers, specifically windows 2012r2 - 2019. This person will also have a generalist background with some Intermediate skills in Networking, Security, Server & cloud technology. This role is On-site in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The start date for this role is May 9th, so the ideal candidate would be available immediately.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Meraki MX - SD-WAN configuration.
Administer configure and maintain the Aruba Wireless central console effectively.
Configuration of domain controller, and make changes as necessary.
Understanding of switch configuration, Aruba / HP
Maintain and troubleshoot 2012r2 Servers and 2019 servers.
Maintain IBM Cloud, VM servers, Vyatta gateways
Azure cloud configuration, used to backup local file shares
Handle tasks related to Office 365, Exchange, Sharepoint, Azure, OneDrive, and PowerBI.
Oversee the outsourced management telephony systems, ensuring optimal performance.
Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies and Active Directory in daily operations.
Leverage knowledge of Backup Technologies to safeguard system data, inclduding server patching.
Provide support for Computer Hardware related issues.
Administer MFA & VPN technologies
Carry out Configuration Management tasks to maintain system stability and performance.
Requirements
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential for this role
Strong experience with Aruba & HP switch technology
Proficiency with entire O365 suite
Proficiency with Azure Cloud
Proficiency with VMware products
Proficiency with Microsoft Authenticator
Strong understanding and experience with Active Directory is required
Must possess knowledge and experience with Backup Technologies
Familiarity with Computer Hardware is a must
Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management is necessary
