Aluminum Sales Representative


Job Details

This position is responsible for developing new accounts and maintains existing accounts.


Responsibilities

  • Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Identify and implement margin opportunities with existing accounts.
  • Support internal and external customers, resolving issues that arise on a timely basis.
  • Retain and maintain profitable accounts within established pricing guidelines.
  • Participate in sales and purchasing activities within the aluminum group.
  • All other tasks as assigned.



Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of aluminum scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations, finance, and transportation.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to generate and close deals.
  • Flexible schedule, as approximately 50-75% of travel is required. With the ability to travel impromptu when the occasions arise.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • College degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
