General Purpose

The City of Commerce City is looking for an enthusiastic Youth Sports Field/Gym Supervisor! The Youth Sports Field/Gym Supervisor will supervise a variety of youth sports programs. They will help to establish and maintain a safe, positive, and fun sports environment for all participants. They will follow all City and Department guidelines and policies. Weekend, holiday, and evening hours scheduled as needed.

These vacancies are open until filled. We will review applications every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.The hiring range for Youth Sports Field/Gym Supervisor is $16.15 - $18.78 per hour.

PAID TIME-OFF BENEFITS:

  • General Leave: Leave banks are granted to employees after six months of full-time employment. General Leave may be used for vacations, personal business, illness, or other reasons as requested by the employee and approved by his/her supervisor.

The employee must meet all City criteria as well as first mortgage underwriting criteria.
  • Personal Computer Employee Purchase Program: To encourage the development of employee computer skills, the City offers an interest-free loan to you for the purchase of computer hardware (including a Desktop or Laptop) and software. The employee must have successfully completed their 6-month Introductory Period for eligibility.
  • Recreation Center Membership: Employees and family members are eligible for a membership to the Commerce City Recreation Center for $5.00 per person per year.
  • Golf Course Green Fees: Employees can play the City's award-winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.00 for 9-holes or $18.00 for 18-holes. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
