Job Title: PLM-Teamcenter Application Developer/ team lead/ integration engineer

About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled PLM-Teamcenter Application Developer to join their team in Austin, TX. This role requires day-one on-site work and involves customizing and extending Teamcenter's capabilities to meet specific business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture and proven experience in server-side customization, workflow configuration, and data modeling.
Responsibilities
- Teamcenter Server Customization: Design and implement custom server extensions and handlers using Java, C++, or C#. Integrate these extensions into the Teamcenter server framework.
- Active Workspace Customization: Develop custom Active Workspace extensions, widgets, and UI modifications using Angular, TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA): Use Teamcenter Service APIs to create custom services, integrations, and extensions.
- Workflow Configuration: Configure and customize Teamcenter workflows to automate business processes and improve efficiency.
- Access Control and Security: Manage user roles, permissions, and security within the Teamcenter environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- BMIDE Customization: Configure and customize Teamcenter data models, data types, and data structures using Business Modeler Integrated Development Environment (BMIDE).
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions in a Teamcenter PLM environment.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Strong programming skills in Java, C/C++, with proven experience in Teamcenter server-side customization and Active Workspace development.
- Teamcenter Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Teamcenter architecture, including Database Server, Application Server, Web Server, and Dispatcher.
- Experience with ITK: Ability to create custom business logic and data manipulation using ITK programming language (C/C++).
- Teamcenter Version: Experience with Teamcenter version 13 or above is desirable.
- Workflow and Access Control: Proficiency in configuring Teamcenter workflows and access controls to manage user permissions and security.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
