General Summary:

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for implementing our social media strategy via our social channels in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. This role will live and breathe social media with the goal of being a leader in the social space. Using creativity, innovation, passionate storytelling and premium copywriting, this role will be monitoring our social media channels with the goal of raising brand awareness, growing and maintaining our social presence, and implementing traffic driving tactics to our store locations to increase in-store sales.


This role will be responsible for driving our social narrative, enhancing our brand s image, improving digital communication with our customers, and encouraging growth through highly effective social campaigns.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage our social media strategy by posting, curating, editing, and monitoring content, - with a focus on Tik Tok/Reels first strategy as well as engaging with and responding to commenters.
  • Manage the company employer brand profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and other up-and-coming social channels.
  • Create and push high quality and compelling text, image and video content - tapping into relevant stories.
  • Maintain a 2-way conversation in your content creative approach to drive conversion and deliver on Brand/Social vision.
  • Develop copy for all consumer touchpoints (social first POV) and for blog including sales promotions, product highlights and Ambassador features.
  • Monitor and share digital and industry latest trends and best practices.
  • Be a key influencer/trusted advisor to engage our community and help set direction for social media communication moving forward.
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
  • Create and manage monthly social media calendars for US and Canada channels.
  • Measure and report on the successes and learnings from social media campaigns, as well as social media KPIS.
  • Identify and communicate with influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Collaborate and present to internal teams on campaigns, events, and results.
  • Social, creative and production duties as needed to execute against the marketing plan.


Job Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • BA in Marketing or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media or similar role
  • Social media savvy, with excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and other relevant platforms
  • Experience with social media management tools (SocialBakers, SproutSocial, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Preferred experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Social Studio, Wordpress etc.
  • Superior writing skills, with exceptional ability to produce error free writing
  • Ability to keep current on social media best practices
  • Experience with audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well organized with good time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain the company brand voice and communicate properly with customers
  • Flexibility to work nontraditional work hours to monitor social channels on nights and weekends
  • Ability to stay current and follow sports and fashion trends
