Purchasing Manager, El Paso TX
Job Details
Responsibilities:
Negotiate and collaborate with suppliers to source electronics & Electro-Mechanical components;
Monitor suppliers capabilities and performance to make sure in alignment with Company requirements;
Conduct RFQ and benchmarking, and perform effective cost-saving analysis;
Work closely with Material Planning and Project team in Hong Kong and China to meet customers requests;
Maintain inventory levels for purchased parts to facilitate product lifecycle;
Prepare administration document s required in daily operation of purchasing process;
Prepare periodical reports for management.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related discipline;
Minimum 10 years solid purchasing/sourcing experience in US with at least 5 years in supervisory role;
Experience in sizeable EMS or multinational manufacturing companies are highly preferred;
Knowledgeable in component and product with proven record in handling electronics projects;
Effective negotiation and communication skills when liaise with external parties;
Good command in written and spoken English.
