Seeking a highly experienced E-Commerce Applications Manager to lead a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge consumer-facing digital solutions. This strategic role involves driving innovation, managing talent, and shaping the digital narrative to ensure continued success in the dynamic digital landscape.
- Lead and manage a team of 10 developers in the design, testing, and implementation of multiple concurrent large-system initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective, efficient, and state-of-the-art application systems are in place and maintained.
- Work closely with project managers, product owners, and scrum masters to ensure solutions delivered meet business stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee the full software development life cycle, from project initiation to delivery and maintenance.
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Implement and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and testing processes to maintain the quality of the commercial application portfolio.
- Optimize resource utilization and explore cost-effective solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence in software development practices.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to design scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web and application development.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of system and application development experience, with at least 3 years in a direct supervisory/managerial role.
- Experience with B2B/B2C, e-commerce development
- Proficiency in full-stack development technologies, including React, Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Cloud Based Development Platforms such as AWS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to develop and manage a team to drive results.
