Job Description:

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Physician adept at delivering superior patient-focused healthcare solutions. Providing relief and promoting the optimum quality of life for home-bound patients in Union County, NJ, is at the heart of this role. You are expected to be a licensed physician in New Jersey with pertinent education and experience in primary care settings. A background in geriatric care would be commendable, although not compulsory. An active CDS and DEA license is also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities comprise providing primary medical care and consultation to homebound patients, closely monitoring their condition and responsiveness to the treatment provided, maintaining comprehensive patient records, ensuring regulatory compliance, representing the agency professionally, aiding in staff education, adhering to safety policies, participating in community outreach programs, and more.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree
- Minimum experience of 2 years in Primary Care
- Valid certifications/licenses in Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS).
- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine in NJ.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year or more of experience in Senior Care, Geriatric/LTC, or Geriatric Care
- Registered NPI Number.
Tools:
- EMR: Home Care Home Base
- Tablet & Phone will be provided.

Schedule:
- From 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., one weekend per month, including one summer and one winter holiday.
