IDR is seeking a Project Scheduler to join one of our top clients in Nashville, TN. This is a hybrid opportunity and will be a 6 month contract with extensions and potential to convert full time. Responsibilities for the Project Scheduler:
- Collaborate with project managers and technical experts to establish assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an efficient scheduling management system.
- Coordinate project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project timelines and deadlines closely.
- Identify potential project schedule delays and intervene promptly.
- Evaluate project performance and generate progress reports.
- Adapt project schedules to accommodate updates and changes.
- Recommend strategies to ensure projects remain within budget and are completed on schedule.
- Keep stakeholders informed about project timelines and deadlines.
- Document project scheduling processes and maintain accurate records.
- Submit project schedule data to relevant stakeholder applications and teams.
Skill Requirements for the Project Scheduler:
- 2 + years experience as a Project Scheduler with a large organizations and multiple projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project Standard and Professional.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).
- Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
- Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple project teams.
- Understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- ability to work onsite in Nashville, TN
