Responsibilities / Tasks

GEA Group is searching for a skilled and experienced Project Manager to be responsible for overseeing and coordinating industrial heating and refrigeration package projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and milestones, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

2.Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and conduct regular performance checks.

3. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project success. Implement proactive measures to mitigate risks and escalate concerns when necessary.

4.Communication: Facilitate clear and consistent communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients, keeping them informed about project progress, changes, and key decisions.

5. Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.

6. Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet the specified quality standards and satisfy client requirements. Conduct regular reviews and inspections to maintain high-quality output.

7. Scope Management: Assess and manage changes to project scope, documenting and communicating scope modifications to all relevant parties.

8.Project Reporting: Generate accurate and detailed project status reports, highlighting key performance metrics, risks, and accomplishments for management and stakeholders.

9.Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement initiatives, incorporating lessons learned from previous projects to enhance overall project management efficiency and effectiveness.

10.Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction and identify potential business opportunities.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or another relevant field; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a track record of successful project management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of fostering collaboration among stakeholders and resolving conflicts constructively.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools (EX: Microsoft Office Project).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the industrial heating and refrigeration industry.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to address challenges and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
