Outside Telecom Sales Representative Berks CountyCompany: PenTeleDataWFH 3-Day Flex Shift: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PMPay Rate: $40,000-50,000 annual plus commission*Although there is a WFH component to this position, agents must live in PA. Our customers require the highest priority of attention and our prompt and thorough consultative approach ensures that we treat every opportunity as unique.The successful candidate will be responsible to accomplish sales goals that further cement our expertise and experience in the Berks County market.Responsibilities include:Heavy new lead generation via phone, email and face-to-face encountersGenerating new sales opportunities and introducing our expanded service portfolio to existing customersAchieving a monthly sales quota and providing projections based on a sales funnelCreating opportunities and documenting milestones in our CRMPreparing quotes and contracts for in-person presentationWorking closely with other departments to provide the best solution to meet the customer needsBuilding relationships with Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development groups and other community centered organizations to ensure our capabilities are top of mindQualifications:H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.BA/BS Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferredValid PA Driver's License and good driving recordEstablished residency in Pennsylvania and ability to come into the Palmerton office as requiredPrevious experience in SalesPrevious experience in the Telecommunications FieldFamiliarity with the Berks County and surrounding areaA good working knowledge of desktop computer applicationsA good working knowledge of networking and using the internetAn Understanding of the technology behind Wi-Fi, routers and switches recommendedAn Understanding of telephony technology including SIP, POTS, PRI and hosted voice solutions recommendedAn Understanding of Ethernet networking and WAN recommendedAn Understanding of Cable Modems recommendedExceptional Lead Generation Skills (cold calling, canvassing, networking)Solid Interpersonal and Communication SkillsNegotiation and Project Strategy Skills
