Join our fun loving team at **Valley View Village Assisted Living** as a **Part-Time or Full-Time Care Attendant!** Our building is conveniently located in a park-like setting on Des Moines East side, near shopping centers, hospitals, medical providers and I-235. There are **Part-Time (Evening- 7:00 pm to 12:00 pm)** or **Full-Time (Night- 7:00 pm to 7:00 am)**, benefit eligible positions available. FT will be eligible for a $3,000 Bonus; PT will be eligible for a $1,000 Bonus
**Benefits:**
**Care Attendant responsibilities:**
* Provide residents with desired services in a caring, safe and timely manner.
* Provide redirection, reassurance, emotional and psychological support to residents and family members.
* Assist residents with personal care with dignity and grace.
* Document services performed on computerized charting system.
* Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
* Perform additional tasks as needed.
**Care Attendant skills and requirements:**
* High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Clear documentation skills.
* Ability to maintain confidential information.
