Job Summary

AS a Pharmacy Care Clerk at AmeriPharma, you will be responsible for clerical tasks associated with the patient care department including patient documentation, Nursing communication and electronic patient communication. The incumbent will report to the Patient Care Coordinator Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Nursing communications to confirm the visit date and supplies
  • Creating the visit log for billing to bill the insurance for these visits
  • Creating the IV scheduling form for the nursing department
  • Scheduling pump pick up if no delivery is scheduled
  • Follow up on unfinished forms or Establishing and maintaining complete patient records (HIPAA annually , Loan Agreement repeats)
  • Communicate with patients through OhMD application to ensure quick responses, great customer service and patients receive proper services and deliveries
  • Assist Patient Care Coordinators with communications with doctor's offices and patients as needed
  • Assisting Patient Care Clerks with communications regarding refills, change of dose and transfers, if applicable
  • Back up for PCCs as needed
  • Handle some offices as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years related experience required

Schedule Details
  • In-Person (Laguna Hills, Ca.)
  • Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
