Electrical Sr Estimator
Redwood Electric is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who will be responsible for estimating the cost of construction projects. This role will primarily work in our Santa Clara, 95051 office.

Responsibilities
Determine the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for electrical construction projects.
Research electrical project documents and analyze specifications.
Prepare estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling electrical project work.
Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
Prepare estimates to meet project timelines, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best deals with vendors and subcontractors.
Ensure that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline.
Regularly report to management and keep clients updated on the project status.
Formulate contingency plans and effectively manage risks that might impact cost and time estimates.
Keep track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.
Collaborate with other teams, conducting site visits, and providing other services, like bid deliveries, when required.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience
High School Diploma or GED
Postsecondary education electrician training program a plus
Bachelors degree in related field is a plus
Experience in Construction is required
Experience with Accubid Trimble is preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat

Full Time 40 hours per week Monday Friday
Salary: $85,500 - $124,500
