We are seeking a highly motivated, TNC Service Product Specialist for our office in Schaumburg, IL.


YOUR VALUE:

As a vibrant professional who has ample knowledge with CNC s and possibly TNC s, you will be responsible for providing CNC support onsite to customers. CNC Integration and service training to customers both in house and onsite. This role will also require the employee to always be up to date with current and new product information.

WHAT YOU LL DO

  • Perform technical assistance traveling to customer sites, as well as in-house technical assistance for customers.
  • Train/assist with PLC programming, control commissioning, and Kinematic issues on HEIDENHAIN control systems.
  • Collaborate with others within service as well as other HC departments for any product related situations.
  • Verify electronic test equipment by use/operation of digital voltometers, oscilloscopes and other various pieces.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years experience working with CNC control systems
  • An Electrical Engineer degree or Electronics/Technical Certificate preferred
  • Knowledge and competence of computer networking configuration (helpful if knowledge of OPC UA, umati, MT Connect, Modbus/TCP, FOCAS)
  • Customer Service etiquette
  • Travel is required for the role, 30-40% frequency.
  • Valid/Unrestricted Driver s License.
  • Valid passport preferred
