Nurse Practitioner (Full Time)
Location: Merritt Island, FL
Workplace: Onsite, Mon-Fri 8a-4p (on-call duties only 2 weeks a year)
Compensation: Up to $115k Base & Bonus potential
Overview:
Our client is a leader in interventional pain management and orthopedic medicine whose mission is to provide patients with a safe, seamless healthcare experience with doctors who can totally focus on the patient. For several years, they've been on the forefront of treating chronic pain without the use of opioids through their diverse network of professionals across 3 states and several cities. They are looking for a Nurse Practitioner for their facility in Merritt Island, Florida.
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for perioperative patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management are conducted in collaboration with other health care team members. This position reports to the Practice Administrator.
Additional Requirements & Incentives:
Needs a Florida state license at a minimum.
DEA not required; can help with credentialing.
(Process could take 30 - 90 days depending on insurance)
Assistance with continuing education up to $1500/year with 5 paid CME days/year.
