Its flagship boutique is in Paris 5th arrondissement at 34 Boulevard Saint Germain.


We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales and Education Manager to join our sales team. The candidate will develop, own and execute a strategic plan to ensure sales budgets are delivered. In this role you will oversee all sales and distribution in your assigned region, ensuring the brand s vision is carried out across the region.

Key Accountabilities

Sales Management

  • Manage, lead, motivate, and supervise sales team (retailer staff) to reach sales goals
  • Manage and develop the retailer staff to deliver brand experience, product knowledge, and clienteling strategies
  • Create a high-performance culture and team
  • Ensure each store and team member is aligned, engaged and empowered to deliver results
  • Recruit, hire, retain, and develop the best people for skills and culture
  • Establish and maintain deep relationships with retail partners and ensure they have the right business driving strategies and are properly serviced
  • Manage and supervise sales team (retailer staff) to ensure sales budgets are achieved; Includes managing dedicated retailer staff (co-manage with retailer)
  • Actively lead and engage in talent development to create high-performing talent
  • Analyze staffing performance and productivity to establish opportunities
  • Clearly identify performance strength by team member and co-manage coaching/development plan accordingly
  • Provide constructive feedback in-store during each visit to ensure staff is in-line with brand standards and given tools to grow
  • Provide feedback to retailers for annual and mid-year performance reviews to highlight successes and discuss opportunities for growth
  • Responsible for ensuring approved stores are fully staffed and trained
  • Manage effective T&E budget

Sales Strategy

  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales budgets by store, by region
  • Analyze and report on monthly sales performance
  • Establish and monitor KPIs in accordance with retailer expectations
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager in building effective sales-driving strategies
  • Hold, direct and execute sales strategy and planning meetings every season with every door
  • Proactively negotiate events and additional exposure at store level
  • Plan and execute store events including presentations to customers
  • Identify and monitor best clienteling strategy per door in terms of outreach and customer loyalty
  • Identify regional marketing and PR opportunities
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with local store management teams
  • Monitor competition initiatives in store and provide qualitative feedback on product launches
  • Manage with laser focus attention new door opening coordination with store on installation date, arrival of stock (sellable & non-sellable), hiring of staff in anticipation, local marketing launch, etc.

Education

  • Ensure new and existing team members are properly onboarded and complete all Education chapters
  • Ensure that product knowledge and proper selling ceremonies are communicated and shared with department store beauty network
  • Implement all training tools
  • Identify Education opportunities and collaborate with the Education team to facilitate region trainings: request budget and support from Education Team
  • Ensure retailer sales team complete journey and track progress
  • Execute department/store trainings, rallies, etc.

Visual Merchandising

  • Maintain a high level of visual merchandising execution in line with brand guidelines
  • Communication with Visual Merchandise Manager to improve and increase brand image in each store
  • Identify space and location opportunities and communicate to account leads

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in business or related field preferred
  • 5+ years sales experience, luxury preferred
  • Proven track record in sales, events, and people management
  • Strategic thinker, analytical thinker and solution driven
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Team player
  • Vehicle required
  • Based in Northern California
