Summary of Position:
As a Sr. Electrical Project Designer Engineer, is responsible for designing and drafting electrical engineering projects under the guidance of Electrical Engineers/Project Managers. This includes power distribution, lighting, and grounding. As part of a multi-disciplined firm, you will be coordinating with Site/Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Architects and Construction Project Managers. You will be responsible for the production of electrical engineering construction documents while adhering to client requirements, code requirements and unique site adjustments.

Responsibilities:
- full site plans, single lines, and detail drawings
- complex design issues with limited direction
- analysis
- site feasibility research and site visit investigations. Generate reports and recommendations based on findings.

- in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.

Qualifications:
- degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- preferred
- years of experience with electrical design for power distribution and distributed generation, preferably in the energy field with projects including electric vehicles, battery storage, generators or microgrids
- and MS Office required; ETAP and AGI a plus,
Team:
This role will report to the Manager of Electrical Engineering and work closely with a team of Designers and Engineers.
Work Location:
This is a hybrid role that can sit out of either our or Ontario, CA; Tampa, FL or Somerville, NJ offices.
