Metric Search is looking for a (Senior) CAD Designer with Water/Wastewater or Land Development experience on behalf of a fast-growing engineering firm. The client is open to designers with any level of experience.
Job Description:
As a CAD Designer, you will work closely with the team of engineers and PMs to aid in the design of water/wastewater infrastructure and land development projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create detailed drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software for various projects:
- Water and wastewater projects: pipelines, treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution systems
- Land development projects: residential, commercial, subdivisions, etc.
- Collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure that designs meet project requirements
- Documenting and tracking changes to designs and drawings
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure that designs meet quality standards
Requirements:
- 1+ year(s) of experience as a CAD Technician
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Understanding of engineering principles and design standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
