Staff Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutons is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant in the Houston TX area. Our client is a business services company and is looking to hire as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in month end close activities
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Assist in preparing for month and year end closing
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of two years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- Understanding of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles
