We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shipping and Logistics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation and logistics, with a focus on managing and optimizing supply chain operations. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. Responsibilities: - Manage and optimize logistic processes and operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods - Develop and implement transportation planning and scheduling strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize costs - Coordinate with freight brokerage partners to secure competitive rates and ensure reliable transportation services - Oversee transportation management, including carrier selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain management strategies that align with company goals - Monitor and analyze transportation finance data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve budgeting processes - Ensure compliance with transportation laws and regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and licenses - Develop and implement transportation safety policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure the well-being of employees and customers Requirements Must be able to lift minimum of 75lbs daily.
