Tax Accountant

Job Details

We are seeking a CPA to add to our team in Cornelius, North Carolina. This is a full-time position in public accounting. As a Staff Accountant, you will be assisting across a variety of services that include but are not limited to: individual tax, partnership tax, corporate tax, nonprofit tax, and attest services.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing partnership, corporate, and individual federal and state tax returns.
• Preparing nonprofit federal and state tax returns.
• Conducting attest services such as audits, reviews, and compilations.

Qualifications Required:

• CPA license (or actively working towards obtaining)
• Master s degree in Accounting
• 1-6 years experience
• Ability to critically think and apply accounting theory
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Excellent presentation and communications skills
