The primary care physician will provide comprehensive outpatient medical care to patients in various health conditions following established standards and practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing treatments and medications, and monitoring the patients progress.
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining the results to patients.
- Collecting and maintaining patient information such as medical history, reports, and exam results.
- Educating patients and their families about treatments and aftercare.
- Collaborating with other medical professionals and departments.
- Performing basic administrative tasks.
Education and Training
- Medical degree and successful completion of a residency in specialty
- License and certification to practice medicine and prescribe medication in the State of Illinois
- Physician must possess and maintain active board certification in specialty
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical and technical skills
