Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Site Safety Manager located in Marshall, MI. The Site Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. They will conduct regular inspections, identify potential hazards, and provide training to employees on safety best practices. The Site Safety Manager will also investigate accidents or incidents, maintain safety records, and collaborate with management to develop and improve safety policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in safety management or a related field
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations
- Certifications such as OSHA 510 or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) are preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is a plus
