**Overview**

K2 Stone, a leading natural stone supplier with locations in Montana, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia, is seeking to add a 2nd Outside Sales Representative in our expanding Oregon market. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company in a role that will be challenging and fulfilling.

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling K2 Stone products and will reach their sales quotas through effective management of the designated territory. Regular in-person visits, an active call schedule and timely follow-up will be required to develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain the professional image of the company. This position requires the applicant to have an adequate space to work from at home. Although the applicant will co-manage the Oregon market with another Outside Sales Rep, the applicant will also need to be reliable and self-motivated, as they will be working by themselves most of the time.

**TOTAL Compensation, including commission, is expected to be $60,000 to $70,000 USD annually.**

**Qualifications**

* At least 3 years sales and account management experience.

* Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel cross-border to Canada where our head office is located.

* Great organizational skills and ability to multitask

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Outlook, accounting software, etc.)

* Demonstrated ability to make sales deals with executive level prospects.

* Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, other stakeholders.

* Able to effectively communicate key information to all audiences.

* Skilled at assessing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering solutions.

* Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

* Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a high degree of tact and persuasiveness.

* Excellent speaking skills, including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences.

* Ability to coordinate, organize and present product demonstrations and other events.

* Ability to operate a forklift (experience preferred, but not required)

* Drivers license with clean driving record

* Must be able to perform various heavy-lifting activities and be capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
