Ron Witherspoon, Inc. is an established and progressive manufacturer for the high tech, medical, aerospace, and defense industries located in Campbell, CA. We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team! The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for the routine tasks of the quality functions in a fast-paced precision machine shop, reporting to the Quality Systems Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect manufactured products for conformity
- Maintain the Quality Procedures, Training, and Quality Database
- Intermediate level of understanding of all inspection hand tools, CMM, and surface plate inspection techniques
- Prepare & maintain NCR, RMA, and CAR records
- Assist in annual internal and external audits
- Other duties may be assigned at short notice
Education
- Three to four years of experience in inspection in a manufacturing environment
Other Requirements
- Zeiss CMM and Calypso software experience (Required)
- Experience working in a machine shop and basic knowledge of Blueprint reading ANSI 14.5Y GD&T is preferred
- Experience working with a microscope
- Function as part of a multi-discipline project team under minimal supervision
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
