We are seeking a Full-Time Front of House Team Supervisor to join our team! You will be responsible to perform supervisory duties over front of house activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop healthy teams based on Trust, Healthy Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Attention to Results
- Conduct opening and closing duties.
- Conduct pre-shift checks and table visits.
- Address ordering and scheduling problems.
- Support management functions, as assigned, to ensure smooth operations.
- Train staff.
- Work specific front of house positions due to excessive volume or staff shortages including but not limited to Server, Cashier, Bartender, or Hostess.
- Certify and train new hire employees.
- Provide feedback for employees in their position.
- Implement new standards and practices.
- Update training materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Be 21 years of age in order to pour alcohol
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant's trading area.
- Two-year college degree and equivalent to direct restaurant (FOH) minimum 1 year+ as a Team Lead or Supervisor
- Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
- Continuously work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 4 hours).
- On occasion, reach, bend, and stoop.
- Lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Food Allergen Certification, Basset Alcohol Certification and Manager Sanitation Certification
