**POSITION SUMMARY:**

The DTC Merchandise Allocator is accountable and responsible to drive and optimize sales, margin and inventory productivity through effective allocation of merchandise inventory to Retail stores. The allocator will monitor and manage store level inventories through the proper flow of receipts into the stores. Supporting Planning and partnering with Merchandise Buying to ensure in-stock, inventory productivity and assortment business goals are met.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Develops and implements allocation and replenishment strategies for assigned merchandise categories across all 5.11 retail locations with careful consideration of ship from store inventory needed to support.

* Manages flow of inventory throughout the product life cycle from the initial allocation through to the daily replenishment review process

* Creates and executes new store opening assortment allocations based on store-specific sales plans and trade area considerations.

* Analyzes and identifies selling trends, acting to maximize selling potential and minimize risk to inventory objectives and profitability

* Responsible for creation and maintenance of weekly and ad hoc reports to analyze and react to store-level inventory needs

* Identifies and implements strategies to support inventory levels for key promotional and peak selling periods

* Evaluate and maximize system capabilities to further enhance allocation/replenishment tools and effectiveness

* Develops and fosters strong cross-functional partnerships with the Store Merchants, Visual Merchandising, Warehouse and Retail Operations

* Other duties as assigned and/or evolving based on needs of the business

**QUALIFICATIONS****:**

* 2 years of Retail experience and experience in previous Allocation role

* Bachelor's degree preferred.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; particularly Excel, (v-look-up/pivot tables)

* Strong organization, analytical and planning skills.

* Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

* Ability to work cross functionally and influence key partners

* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet all deadlines within a fast-paced environment
