Job Description Outside Sales Associate Account Manager - 40947 **Description**
**Position Title: Outside Sales Associate Account Manager**
* Faribault, MN
* Local Travel 50% of the time
The Outside Sales Associate Account Manager is responsible for generating sales growth in a territory made up of small to midsize accounts, by maintaining and growing existing accounts and increasing our customer base.
In particular, you will:
* Utilizes Airgass sales directives and guidelines in order to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts.
* Prepares sales proposal by quoting pricing, credit terms, estimated date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of Airgass production/delivery schedules and software program.
* Assists in resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing memos/reports, and making recommendations to management.
* Maintains and submits sales reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses) as required by District Manager (DM).
* Special projects and other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelors Degree in Business or Related Field is preferred
* A minimum of 6 months of prior outside sales/service experience.
* Working knowledge of SAP a plus.
* Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Applications preferred.
* Strong organizational, analytical and planning skills
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Reliable transportation, current drivers license, minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration.
* Frequent local travel (50-60% of work time); minimal overnight travel.
* Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this positions responsibilities.
