**Job Description:**

**Job Summary:** Supports the Restaurant Manager in the daily operations of the Copper Caf with both customers and Team Members to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Make recommendations to hire, terminate, promote, demote, transfer, provide training opportunities, recommend merit increases, evaluate performance, create and adjust performance standards.

* Maintain standards and effectively enforce policies and procedures.

* Provide feedback to Manager on a daily basis and format reports as needed.

* Administer Snap shots and maintain integrity of process and program.

* Communicate variances from the established standards to the Manager.

* Complete the required daily financial tools and reports.

* Ability to work POS and process all reports as necessary.

* Work with Finance and IT teams to ensure that all revenue is captured and reported in an accurate and relevant manner.

* Work closely with Security and Surveillance teams to maintain processes and integrity of policy and service in a highly regulated environment.

* Solicit guest feedback by direct interaction and comment cards.

* Act immediately on any guest complaint to ensure that corrections are made and that 100% Satisfaction Guarantee invocations are made.

* Maintain a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable work environment for Team Members and guests.

* Maintain professional grooming and appearance according to established policy.

* Act as a role model to other Team Members and always present oneself as a credit to the organization and encourage others to do the same.

* Maintain attendance guidelines of the job.

* Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

* Coach and train all service staff within the department.

* Maintain Team Member files (i.e. positive guest comments, attendance, and all additional documents as required.).

* Conduct daily inspection of all dining areas and dining staff to make certain all areas and staff conform to standards.

* Motivate staff using positive reinforcement.

* Routinely educate sales staff as how all kitchen items are prepared and list the main ingredients.

* Complete payroll on a weekly basis.

* Responsible for equipment needs.

* Place order for dining room supplies.

* Fill in wherever needed within the department.

* Attend all meetings and/or training sessions as required.

* Perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

**System Access:** ACWeb, ADP, InfoGenesis, Food Trax, Agilysys POS, HR Apply, Odawa Forms and Microsoft Office

**Job Requirements:**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* Must be 21 years of age or older.

* High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum of two (2) years food and beverage experience including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience required or equivalent of at least three (3) years experience within at least one of the OCR food outlets.

* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, customer service, leadership, communication, team building and problem-solving skills are required.

* Knowledge of all phases of restaurant service.

* Proficiency in point of sales systems, and purchasing systems.

* Must be reliable and conscientious.

* Must be able to meet physical requirement such as significant lifting up to fifty (50) lbs, along with bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

* Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time with infrequent and brief rest periods.

* You may be required to pass a skills assessment test to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications of the position.

* Exposure to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filled environment.

* Must be able to meet Odawa Casino Resort internal supervisory or higher, training and education requirements.

* Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission, and be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law.

* Must maintain confidentiality at all times.

Team Members who were part of an involuntary reduction in force (RIF) or position elimination will be eligible for rehire without a waiting period.

A Team Member who resigns with proper notice may apply for rehire after 3 months from the effective date of their termination.

A Team Member who has their employment terminated by any gaming facility or who resigns without proper notice may be eligible for rehire subject to the following schedule:

* 1st occurrence must wait 6 months from the effective date of termination or resignation without proper notice

* 2nd occurrence must wait one year from the most recent effective date of termination or resignation without proper notice

* Any occurrence beyond the 2nd must wait three years from the most recent effective date of termination or resignation without proper notice.

Please note that occurrences do not reset regardless of length of time between them.

A Team Member whose employment is terminated as a result of not being able to return to work upon exhaustion of the Fair Employment Leave will be eligible for rehire without a waiting period once they have been released back to work by a qualified physician.

A Seasonal Team Member whose employment is terminated will be eligible for rehire without a waiting period if they successfully complete their most recent seasonal employment.

Must not be currently on a Security Ban from Odawa Casino during the time of application

Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission, and be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law.
