Will be a well-rounded role that will get involved in both accounting/reporting of financial results and will also be responsible for forecasting, trend analysis and special projects which includes acquisitions, divestitures and financial modeling.
Job Description:
The Senior Finance Associate is a liaison between Finance and its investments in Affiliates. The primary function consists of maintaining oversight of the financial aspects of our investments through peer relationships with the Affiliates Controllers or CFOs.
Core Responsibilities:
Relationship Management with Affiliate CFOs and Controllers:
Develop working relationship with finance personnel within a group of existing Affiliates
Facilitate communication to understand Affiliate forecasted and reported results
Implement reporting process with new Affiliates Analysis of Affiliate financial reporting to holding company:
Prepare Affiliate financial results for consolidation with other Affiliates and corporate entities
Review calculations of profit allocations
Identify and analyze Affiliate reporting for trends, discrepancies and fluctuations Work with forecasting personnel at holding company to project operating results Support public financial disclosure as necessary
Participate in special projects, including acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations and other projects
Lead initiatives, including model building and refining, forecasting, and other in-depth analyses
Ad-hoc analysis and reporting to all levels of management Skills and Attributes: Highly motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team
A team player with strong interpersonal skills, have a positive attitude and be detail-oriented
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills are crucial

Qualifications and Experience:
Asset management industry background is a plus Bachelor s degree in accounting 1-4 years of financial or accounting experience
Industry background and/or CPA or working towards CPA preferred
