Position Overview

Responsible for building strong, lasting relationships with clients in the adult beverage category, focused on shopper marketing solutions. This person will work on campaign concepting, developing programming recommendations , custom / special project scope development, internal briefing and internal / external communication and billing. This position will lead day-to-day client communication with higher-level client contacts and is responsible for bringing new ideas / opportunities to clients and identifying opportunities to grow the business. The ideal candidate will have the ability to leverage strategic thinking to evaluate data, partnering with our Analytics team to evaluate data to identify optimizations / new opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities*

  • Develop, maintain, and extend client relationships.
  • Manage day-to-day interaction with clients through daily email/phone/in-person meetings (travel to client visits as needed)
  • Maintain strong, lasting client relationships, while developing a deep understanding of each client s business, based on progress in achieving client s marketing objectives in a manner that results in a profit to the agency.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the agency and the client, provide effective direction to ensure that the agency is protected and properly managing client expectations.
  • Work with your team and management to drive strategies to grow revenue from clients (both with clients and product/service innovation)
  • Deliver proactive account management by providing business solutions to clients, as well as offering ideas/methods of increasing revenue through unique shopper marketing programs.
  • Work with each client to establish target goals and objectives (high level yearly planning as well as project planning)
  • Execute shopper marketing campaigns for each client, with a focus on conversion and ROI optimization.
  • Help to analyze client performance and provide reports both internally (sales/performance perspective) and externally, through working with internal analytics team (for external reporting); develop key insights (alongside analytics team) and deliver through Ppt or like to client.
  • Research competition, competitive issues, products, and industry trends
  • Maintain and grow our business by interacting with prospects via seminars and referrals.
  • Manage your team s support staff to lay out responsible timeframes with clients and internal staff.
  • Work with clients and finance to ensure proper billing and agency payment.
  • Provide weekly assessments & direction to your team.
  • Conduct 90-day and yearly reviews of support staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • 4 - 5 years of Sales promotion, advertising, marketing, or related work experience required, CPG or shopper marketing experience would be ideal.
  • Alcohol Beverage marketing/sales experience is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel is a must.
