Workday Financials Analyst
Job Details
6+ years experience in a Functional/Business Systems Analyst role with expertise in Workday Financial Management modules (min. 3 years experience administering/supporting Workday Financials)--Core Accounting, FP&A Reporting,
Payroll, Timesheets, Professional Services Automation
("Projects"), Procurement, Contracting, etc.
Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting (revenue/payroll reporting especially) and automation of reports
(mostly manual reporting to-date);
MUST have decent experience creating composite reports (pulling data from multiple areas of Workday) to help them with month-end closing challenges
Need a person who can build and edit Workday functions/configurations, not
just
run functions already built
Experience with BIRT would be very helpful; Workday Studio experience not required.
Security admin experience - ability to set up security rights
Thorough understanding of functionality and business process improvement through leveraging Workday's capabilities (their implementation was rushed and there's a lot of room for process improvements); everything already implemented, but a lot of configurations/changes to make to improve processes/functionality
Experienced with integrations with other systems/data sources; need to be able to build integrations from scratch and maintain
Strong ability to partner with business stakeholders to understand "as-is" and "to-be" processes and define priorities for improvements in the system, then make configuration/code changes where needed and train users on new processes/tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professionalism is required
Finance background helpful, but not required
