>> Computer and Network Support Specialist Computer and Network Support Specialist Summary Title:Computer and Network Support SpecialistID:00227-CALocation:Ridgecrest, CA Description Perrygo Consulting Group, LLC (Perrygo) is excited about the opportunity to bring aboard highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our growing teams. We are currently in search of a Junior to Mid level Computer and Network Support Specialist to join our team in China Lake/Ridgecrest, CA.
**Responsibilities may include the following:**
* Maintain HEAT ticketing system
* Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation
* Conduct software updates and patches
* Monitor Data Center systems
* Provide physical security monitoring for access control
* Documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Processes and Issues
* Assist in Patching virtual machines
* Support and close Jira tickets
* Research and develop documentation for issues
* Assist on STIGs
* Create user accounts
* Create, patch and maintain virtual machines
* Complete weekly and monthly checks on the LRA system
**Required Experience:**
* Bachelors degree and 0-3 years experience Junior level; Bachelors degree and 3-10 years experience mid-level
* Knowledge of DoD IA practices, to include Security Implementation Guides (STIGs)
* Experience with Windows OS
* Knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting methods and processes
**Required Education & Qualifications:**
* Bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred. Substitutions HS + 6 additional years; Associates + 4 years additional experience
* Current Security+ CE Certification is required
* Active Security Clearance minimum of at least a current SECRET security clearance
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
