RichSmith Management is currently seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper for our apartment community in Hammond, LA. The Porter/Groundskeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the community. Prior maintenance experience is preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the community, including grounds, building exteriors, leasing office, pools, amenities, and other common areas.
- Comply with company and community operating and safety policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws related to community operation.
- Walk the grounds and deliver notices to all apartments as needed.
- Comply with all Fair Housing laws and regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as HVAC filter changes, storm drain and sewer clean-out, and lubricating, oiling, greasing, and checking mechanical systems.
- Assist with landscaping for the community.
Qualifications:- At least one year of experience in the field, including maintenance experience (preferred).
- Willingness to deliver excellent customer service as part of the community team, providing a high-quality living environment.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
