Production Coordinator


Job Details

Function:

The Production Coordinator reviews incoming orders and coordinates for efficiency of product and labor. Their work is both analytical and detail oriented.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Consolidate demand to minimize waste and efficiently use labor/time/product.

Create and printing of Batch Tickets for all departments.

Maintain Kanban inventory levels per standards utilizing the Kanban Report.

Utilize Intermediate Demand Report for fulfillment of all Demand.

Update Production Batches Tab on the Production Board with Ticket number, Filled Intermediates, Customer, $ Value and Sales Order Due Date.

Minimize Expired/Aged inventory by utilizing the Shelf-Life Report tool.

Create and maintain Finish Good Excess and Expiry Reports.

Maintain Inventory Transaction Approval Google Doc with data from QA Manager, Production Manager, Warehouse Manager and Dropfill Lead.

Data entry into the system.

Backup for closing tickets once complete.

Communicates effectively with the production team.

May assist with cycle counts and inventory.

Job Conditions/Physical Requirements:

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Largely a sedentary role. Some exposure to warehouse type environments such as noise, dust, odors, and fumes.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year of relevant experience in data entry in a production environment.

Compensation: $17.50 per hour
