Clean Harbors in **Archdale, NC** is looking for a **Environmental Tech/Equipment Operator**, known internally as an Environmental Technician, to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response, hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.
This position may require travel away from home up to 30% and rotating on-call/weekends.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
* Performing emergency response activities including, but not limited to chemical and water spills, etiological and biological contamination, tank cleaning and equipment decontamination, etc.
* Valid Drivers license required
* Due to the emergency response and operational nature of the position, it will require rotating on-call
* Available for overnight travel about 30% of the time - we will pay for hotel and give per diem for meals.
* Occasional weekends/nights
