While they are directly responsible for local processing products for delivery to customers, their value is in their ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Shift: 3 pm until job is complete (8 - 12 hour shift depending on work load)

Essential Functions Statement(s)
All Piece Pickers

Pushes, pulls, and steers rolling carts throughout warehouse for order selection and loading.
Places product into a cart.
Operates a manual pallet jack by pulling, leading, and steering palletized product throughout the warehouse and into trucks.
Operates an electric "walkie" pallet jack by pulling, leading, and steering palletized product throughout the warehouse and into trucks.
Operates an electric "riding" pallet jack by pushing, pulling, leading, and steering palletized product throughout the warehouse and while loading trucks. Driving requires twisting to be able to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis. Operator must continually mount and dismount equipment to pick product onto pallet
Picks product onto a pallet requires reaching, pulling, twisting, bending, crouching, and lifting.
Operates a lift truck all day.
Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refer defects or repairs to
supervisor/maintenance.
Moves controls to drive powered lift trucks and transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, load inverters, elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
Applies stretch-wrap under, over, or around unitized skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

Piece Picker: Pallet Lack Qualified
Piece Picker: Lift Truck Qualified

Unloads products from inbound carriers (manually and with equipment).
Verifies that the product received is identified and counted accurately.
Uses scanning devise and computer as needed to perform tasks.
Inspects condition of all received product.
Moves and places product safely and securely in its proper storage location.

Stager/Order Picker
Receives and reads orders for pre-loading.
Fills orders by accurately picking product from storage and staging, places product on a spot utilizing stacking guideline.
Inspects and loads trucks and arranges the products with the cube of the trailer according to recommended loading practices and guidelines.
Uses scanning devise and computer as needed to perform tasks.
Checks printout for shortages, over-counts and incorrect item codes and lot numbers.
Corrects shortages, over-counts and incorrect lot codes as needed.

Truck Loaders
Inspects trailers before loading products.
Counts units on preload spot and compares with shipping documents.
Moves products from the preload spot, and directly from storage when required, into the trailer.
Arranges the products within the cube of the trailer according to recommended loading practices and guidelines.
Properly secures the load for travel.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
Experience: One (1) to two (2)s year related experience in warehouse environment.
Computer Skills: Basic scanner technology.
Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Driver's License; Forklift Certification preferred.
