Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of their assigned IU Health facility, will be offered a lower rate

Shift Requirements: 3x12 7p-7a
No call required
Weekend coverage - Every other weekend
13-week contract available
Certification Requirements:
ACLS, BLS
OCN preferred
Skillset Requirements:
PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, accessing prots, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs
Floating Required
Minimum Experience Required: 1.5 Years
Staffing Ratios: 1:4/5
Unit Information:
**THIS IS AN ACUITY ADAPTABLE UNIT**
This 25 bed unit is committed to delivering the best, high quality, compassionate care to all patients. On OPC, we utilize a team approach consisting of nurses, physicians, patient care assistants, case managers, and unit support staff. Our care team specializes in the care of stable progressive care patients, patients with a diagnosis or history of cancer, end of life care, including Inpatient Hospice, and medical level of care. As part of the Oncology Progressive Care team, you will become chemotherapy trained and will have the opportunity to become an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN).
