Currently, Strativ is partnered with a leader in electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL), designing, developing, and manufacturing light eVTOLs.
Role: Hardware / Electrical Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing, manufacturing, and testing avionics and electronics. A variety of skills and backgrounds are welcomed.
Responsibilities:
- Design lifecycle
- Use Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout
- Develop production testing solutions for electronic assemblies
- Conduct design validation testing for electronics and sensors
- Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis to enhance yield, performance, and reliability
- Innovate and iterate on existing designs
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and product validation
Qualifications:
- Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry
- 5+ years of experience in board design
- Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Experience in taking products through the development process
- Proficient in test script writing (Python preferred)
- Familiar with Altium Designer, SPI, UART, and CAN communication protocols
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design
- Proficient in troubleshooting circuits and using lab tools
- Lithium-based battery integration
