Spine Team Spokane is an Interventional Pain Management clinic with two locations in Spokane, WA. Our dedicated mid-level team includes Physicians Assistants who work alongside our physicians to provide exceptional care to our patients. We also offer in-house Occupational Therapy services. We have start of the art facilities and Board Certified Interventional Pain Management Physicians that are performing in office procedures and outpatient surgeries.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant at Spine Team Spokane. Willingness to work at both locations in North Spokane and Spokane Valley. The Physician Assistant will work alongside our pain physicians and provide patient care including but not limited to: obtaining patient histories, performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and making referrals for further medical treatment. The Physician Assistant will work with the interdisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Active state Physician Assistant license
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Ability to order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Ability to prescribe medications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include: strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, ability to adapt to changing situations, and strong desire to help patients.
