Are you an experienced Estimator with a passion for high-end luxury residential construction? Then this could be the opportunity for you! My client are a leading General Contractor based in the heart of NYC, specializing in bespoke renovations for luxury apartments, townhouses, condos, penthouses, and upscale commercial spaces, including high-end lobbies. They are currently seeking a talented individual to join the team as an Estimator and work on some of the most prestigious projects in NYC!
Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to prepare accurate cost estimates for high-end luxury residential and commercial projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements and scope.
- Conduct thorough material take-offs and labor assessments to ensure comprehensive project pricing.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals to secure competitive pricing.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, budgets, and proposals for client review and approval.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Estimator in high-end luxury residential construction, with a focus on NYC projects.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and MS Office suite.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead projects.
