Position: Physician Assistant


Job Duties:


  1. Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, health maintenance, and disease management.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
  3. Perform routine health screenings, immunizations, and health education sessions to promote wellness and disease prevention within the community.
  4. Manage and coordinate patient care, including referrals to specialists, follow-up appointments, and medication management.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  6. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care to patients.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  8. Embrace our community-focused approach to healthcare delivery, fostering strong relationships with patients and families


Qualifications:


  1. Master s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  2. Current certification as a Physician Assistant and license to practice in the state of Utah.
  3. Strong clinical skills with proficiency in conducting physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing common primary care conditions.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  5. Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, while also demonstrating autonomy and initiative in clinical decision-making.
  6. Dedication to providing high-quality, personalized care to patients and families in a smaller community setting.
