Junior Interior Designer Location: New Orleans Job Description the Junior Designer assists the Principal Designer in all phases of the design process to ensure on-brand presentations and client installations. The Junior Designer is primarily responsible for creating all floor plans, renderings and elevations of each project the design firm takes on. The Junior Designer also serves as the primary point of contact to the client throughout the design phase of the project, is responsible for scheduling meetings and follow-up calls, as well as assisting the Principal in the creation of the client's design presentations, and keeps track of items that need to be selected, priced and included in the presentation for the client. The Junior designer manages the timelines of the presentations and pursues payment from the client on all open proposals.
Job Requirements -Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from an accredited University
-Minimum of 1 year of work experience
-Proficiency in standard design trade softwares (CAD, Sketch-up, etc) and business software such as excel, word, etc.
