Expected work schedule for the Chicago Campus Minister:
We offer flexible full or part time schedules. Overtime or weekends may be required for specific events as well as attendance at the IFI retreat.
Pay structure for a Chicago Campus Minister:
IFI provides training in order to equip Chicago Campus Ministers in personal fundraising. The Chicago Campus Minister will develop a team of partners to cover financial needs such as salary, benefits, ministry expenses, and pray for their ministry. A Chicago Campus Minister can expect a salary of $25,709-$80,000 based on experience and other factors.

About the area and Responsibilities of a Chicago Campus Minister:
There are so many great schools, such as the University of Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Illinois Chicago branch, DePaul University, Art Institute of Chicago, and Loyola University. These schools have a total of about 25,000 international students, which are tomorrow's leaders from all over the world. Chicago is a great place to do international student ministry. This position is part of the Chicago ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.
The Chicago Campus Minister will evangelize and disciple international students, scholars, and their families by building friendships, connecting with student associations, and hosting cultural events and Bible studies. The Chicago Campus Minister will also mobilize other Christians to serve on a campus ministry team, pursue creative ways to share the Gospel, and develop culture-specific outreaches.
Qualifications needed of a Chicago Campus Minister, including Spiritual Characteristics
The Chicago Campus Minister must adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies. The Chicago Campus Minister must be a person of character who faithfully extends God's love globally by mobilizing Christians to effectively communicate the Gospel in the context of various cultures.
Education/Experience Preferred for a Chicago Campus Minister:
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree
- Minimum of one-year involvement in campus ministry or completion of IFI ISEED Program
