La Residence Phou Vao, a Belmond Hotel, is currently seeking a hands-on Executive Chef with a positive attitude, customer-oriented mind-set, and creative thinking.

As a Kitchen leader, you will be responsible for ensuring only the highest quality of food & beverage for our guests through meticulous consistency, taste, and presentation of all dishes. The Executive Chef may also be called upon to use this time to create a wide variety of new dishes for the outlet kitchens and conduct proper training before launching them.

In addition, this position needs to review the food cost analysis on a daily basis to ensure that it is in line with the budget (by handling proper ordering and maintaining par stocks), with the goal of securing profit margins while maintaining the Corporate image of the Company at all times. You will also oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen spaces and procedures.

**Requirements**

Previous relevant experience, minimum 2 to 3 years as an Executive Chef or a high performing Sous Chef in a luxury hotel / restaurant business, specializing in Lao or Thai cuisine

* With excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

* Self-driven, innovative, and guest-oriented

* Outgoing and with a passion for quality

* International experience in fine dining restaurant set-up (preferably luxury hotels)

* Involvement in restaurant pre-opening preferred
