This Weekend Caregiver position earns a **competitive starting wage** of **$15 to $16/hr** depending on experience. These shifts are at a group home in Tooele for two or three shifts of 8 to 10 hours each. These Part Time shifts do not included befits.
**We do NOT require vaccinations for staff!**
**We are currently offering a $300 hiring bonus for weekend P/T staff,** inquire at interview **.**
We also have "sleeping" graveyard shifts 11p-9a available with the sleep portion paid at $10.00 per hour.
**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAREGIVER / DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL**
As a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional, you support adults with developmental disabilities and brain injuries to live their best lives as independently as possible. In a residential setting or at our day program, you assist your clients with daily living activities and use effective teaching and mentoring techniques to teach them new skills and help them achieve goals. You are happy to assist with educational skills and recreational activities while providing a safe environment and helping them find greater access to the community.
You are conscientious about reporting any concerns about their health and safety and keeping documentation accurate and up-to-date. You are energized by the dynamic team of people you work with and find the work of supporting people with developmental disabilities and brain injuries to live amazing lives according to their own needs and desires extremely rewarding!
**QUALIFICATIONS**
* 18 years old or older
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Own a smart phone
* Reliable transportation and a good driving record
* Ability to pass a background check and drug test
**WORK SCHEDULE**
Part-time schedules are typically 8-hour shifts 3 days per week or 4-hour shifts 5 days each week (24-25hours/week). **Many shifts are during the day, and we have some shifts may be in the evening or on weekends.**
