Role Summary:

The URBN Community team is looking for a highly motivated, creative thinker for the role of Junior Graphic Designer. This position requires a collaborative designer with a hands-on approach to support multiple creative projects. Must have a strong sense of typography, hierarchy, and layout, with attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The Junior Designer is responsible assisting in the creation, development, preparation, and execution of a wide variety of creative projects primarily for our internal community of creative thinkers and problem solvers.



Role Responsibilities:
  • Work with Shared Service Creative Director to develop and maintain URBN brand standards, organization, and cohesion

  • Create visual assets for URBN communications channels including emails, web, print, social media, etc.

  • Anticipate and participate by seeking opportunities, being thoughtful to design trends and concepts, and helping expand URBNs brand visuals

  • Present ideas with clear communication of intention, offering several solutions
  • Communicate project status and maintain priorities

  • Utilize time management skills and organize files in a clean sharable manner
  • Facilitate and promote collaboration with frequent and open communication
  • Participate in minimum 4-day in-person work week, 1-day remote


Role Qualifications:
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to problem solve and follow art direction

  • Excellent typography knowledge and skills

  • Working knowledge of Apple, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite (Figma, animation and digital photography skills are a plus)

  • Creative thinker with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Relationship builder: ability to collaborate with many different personality types

  • Team player who is willing to provide assistance whenever and wherever needed

  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field

  • 1-2 years graphic design experience in a professional work environment
